Tribute from son-in-law, Phillip Spaine

Created by Elizabeth 3 years ago

Many a time, we underestimate the purpose of meeting fellow human beings from far, near and wide. I believe that distance and our differences are not meant to divide us, but to expand our knowledge of knowing who God is, despite the differences in our cultural orientations. We learn from some people verbally, and from others, non-verbally.

As a keen observer, I noticed Papa (as I called him) was not a big talker, but more of a non-verbal speaker whose quiet disposition speaks volumes when issues are at hand. One thing I learned from him and am practicing, is how to express satisfaction and dissatisfaction without any form of aggression. A good man with a good heart who has been of great help to the Spaine family and I believe many more!

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace!
