"As silently as he comes, so silently he goes.”

That would be Rev Joshua Kudadjie. But who said that there was power in noise and attention? There may well be, but it is also very well acknowledged that “Still waters run deep.”

That is how I would describe Rev Kudadjie, from when I first met him as a regular member of the Scripture Union Sunday afternoon Town Fellowship at Kaneshie that used to meet at the Primary School when during some of my holidays from secondary school, in the late 60s, I used to attend, all the way to fellowshipping with him at Legon Interdenominational Church, as well as responding to a couple of invitations to participate in some training sessions at the Methodist University when he was head of Administration.

Nor were the engagements restricted to my person only. My wife and children have been close to his wife and children, and while we are in no doubt whatsoever that he has headed home to be with the LORD he loved so much, our hearts are nevertheless filled with sadness that he will no longer be available for us to consult and benefit from his counsel and prayers.

We are consoled by the fact that he has joined the cloud of witnesses, and we pray that we who have been left behind will faithfully walk the narrow way.

Osofo Onukpa, yaa wo odjobaa.
